The main purpose of the Association of Traders with Electricity in Bulgaria is to defend the rights and interests of the traders in electricity in Bulgaria as well as to do researches and analyses, consultations and trainings in the field of electric energy and also in other fields which are of interest with a view to the electric energy market development.

The Association of Traders with Electricity in Bulgaria represents and protects the economic interests of its members and supports the information exchange between them. The basic mission of the organization is to create and approve modern economic relationships in the electric energy branch. Also it has the aim to improve the market infrastructure, the principles and mechanisms of the normative organization active in the country that is regulating the public relationships in the electric energy branch.

The association represents and protects the rights and interests of its members before the national, public and international bodies and organizations and supports them in the implementation of their trade activity connected with electric energy sale; promotes the effective and transparent loyal competition and the correct business relationships in the electric energy branch.
